Graham Newell

Graham moved to San Diego in August of 2008 with his wife, Sue Newell, a dressage trainer/instructor. Graham & Sue have a dressage business located in Del Mar, and he works with Sue in their Custom Saddlery business. In his desire to be more involved within the Dressage Community, he volunteered to assist the CDS San Diego Chapter Board and members; now, in his second year on the board, he has taken on the mantle of editor for the Chapter News letter.
Following 25 years distinguished service in the British Army, he retired and worked for Boeing as the UK Program Manager on the 787 Dreamliner. After meeting Sue Newell, Graham retired from Boeing to start a new life in Colorado with Sue and is happy to be neck deep in horses.
During his spare time, (yes, there isn't much) Graham has specialized in the restoration, maintenance and repair of classic Mercedes Benz cars and represents the German /8 and Fintail clubs. He has also been known to be a very much needed handyman. Graham and Sue like to travel to Germany for club meetings and horse trips, as Graham speaks fluent German and has lived there for over 30 years.
