Bev grew up in Illinois, where summers were spent galloping bareback through the meadows of her parents' farm and the only redeeming thing about winter was sleigh rides through the snow. She lived and worked in downtown Chicago for a few years after graduating from Northern Illinois University. After deciding that she never again needed to hear the phrase, "Wind Chill Factor," Bev fled the windy city for sunny San Diego. The horse "bug" from her childhood resurfaced in San Diego where she dabbled in 3-day eventing, but found an addiction in dressage!
Bev currently works as a Quality Assurance Analyst for a software company, meaning that she gets paid to break the software! This will be her 4th term on the CDS-SD Board.
