Switching eBlast Providers
Below is a copy of announcement, which includes a list of the types of eBlasts we send out.
Every eBlast you receive from us will share some similarities: the CDS San Diego logo, the Facebook link, the link to forward it to a friend, and, below that, two choices: one, to update your subscription preferences (to receive more or less mailings from us) or to unsubscribe (so that mailings from us cease altogether).
You won't receive your newsletters or premiums as attachments anymore. They clog up your inboxes, use unnecessary bandwidth, and also make it much more likely that eBlasts from us are marked as SPAM. Instead, you'll receive links from us that will take you to the information you need. For the newsletters, we'll "tease" you with tidbits from the main stories, so you'll know the great content our Newsletter Editor has worked hard to provide.
With this change, we're hoping to cut down clutter while still providing you with the news you want to hear. Please, let us know how we're doing--and if you're having any trouble at all with the new system (or if you can't find the mailing you received and you don't want to wait until the next eBlast to find out what you're signed up for), feel free to e-mail the webmaster.
