Gay was dragged into riding at age 35 by daughter Susan Walker, and immediately went to work “making up for lost time”—by the time she was 40, she could no longer count horses she owned on her fingers! In 2000, Gay and her husband opened Rancho Los Amigos Equestrian Center, home of German Dressage since 2001. Gay trains with Jürgen Hoffmann of German Dressage, and enjoys riding/competing on her Oldenburg mare, Tequila Sunrise. She also breeds warmbloods in partnership with the Hoffmanns, and is webmaster and advertising manager for both Rancho Los Amigos and German Dressage.
Gay assisted Lisa Blaufuss in 2006with website and graphics, and assumed formal responsibility for the website and media in 2007. She continues to work closely with Lisa.
