CDS San Diego does not put on schooling shows. But many dressage facilities in our area do, and we enjoy bringing fellow riders together in a friendly competition. The Schooling Show Circuit is separate from our Rated Shows Circuit; it is simply a fun way to connect with our local dressage community and get to know each other. For your convenience, our website displays participating schooling shows in the area. We then track your scores across all these schooling shows and give out awards at the end of the circuit year, usually at an Awards Banquet. But we don't track your scores unless you have indicated that you would like to be eligible for awards. You can do this by "nominating" yourself and your horse on our website, and by paying a small nominating fee for each rider/horse combination. We begin tracking your scores on the day you nominate. Adult Amateurs and Juniors/Young Riders who do not ride in rated shows and who have not nominated for our Rated Shows Circuit are eligible to participate.
Don't miss out on the happy! Nominating yourself and your horse is a fun way to participate in your San Diego chapter!
If you have ANY questions about nominations, email Shirley or contact the chapter.
Circuit Nominations
ELIGIBILITY FOR THE SCHOOLING CIRCUIT: Out of fairness, if you compete in Rated Shows, or have done so recently, you may not compete in the Schooling Show Circuit. Trainers/open riders also are ineligible. Please nominate for our Rated Shows Circuit instead; the Schooling Circuit is a competition for schooling show participants only.

Scores are tracked forward from the date of nomination.
